Gladiator Haste Changes and New Stat Weights

Gladiators!

With the recent changes to haste for World of Warcraft, we are now easily hitting the first haste breakpoint with less gear ( 225 instead of 330 ) and should be looking to also get the second. I've updated the original Stat Weights post to include this information as well. Here is what Haste looks like for my 667 Glad Warriors Gear. Because of these changes our stat weights are going to be different. I decided to show the entire graph on Cyclonus. From 0 haste on gear, all the way to 700 in 25 haste increments.

So, from 0 haste, we see the biggest gains between 200 and 225 Haste, and 650 and 675 Haste. Haste is also now a bit more valuable than it used to be, because we get more of it per stat now. From there the two caps are 225 and 675, Accounting for Interface and Network lag, I would recommend 250 and 700 haste for these caps.
Remember, these are raid buffed values!

  1. could there be an additional breakpoint in the 1100 range based upon the trends of the old (and now new) breakpoints?

    1. The second breakpoint is around 11-1200 but the numbers I've given assume you have the raid buff for haste, so the required haste is down to 675.

    2. so whats the next breakpoint after 675 without the raid buff? with some mythic gear im at 900+ haste unbuffed atm

  2. If you could please post the stat weights in a format easily imported into AMR that would be fantastic.

Also, I am at 950 haste with another 1% added from the goblin racial, if you could please post the 3rd haste break point that would be splendid. Thanks in advance.

    1. Someone else just asked that above you. It's in the Stat weights post.

  4. 1) Doesn't mastery increase damage faster than versatility?

    2) STR is higher than armor only because of the 5% bonus from the buffs right?

    3) Is the value for haste only in case you aim to the 700? Like if you are at 500 haste, would you enchant 50 haste or 50 crit?

Just ran my warrior through Simcraft, but the results show Haste as dead last in priority (the value spiking to highest if I lower it below 690 or so). Is there a problem with Simcraft or is it an issue with my gear?

    1. 700 Haste is 10 haste higher than the breakpoint. It's value drops very dramatically after you get to 700, then steadily becomes more and more valuable nearer to the next one, which is around 1200 I believe ( and not worth reaching for ). If you're at 690 on the dot, you're going to see haste as dead last, but you might not always get the extra ability inside your shield charges due to lag / player error.

    2. So, you should expect to see it's value drop right after those breakpoints. I've given the stat weight expecting that you're not going to be right at that niche. If you're running your own sims you'll be able to get more precise, but the weights i've provided are meant to be a lot more broad coverage as haste will get a lot better by 800 or so, but you probably already saw that :)

  6. I was just wondering the 700 haste i know is my goal, and it provides me with just over 8% haste, am I mistaken to believe that my goal is to bet at 8% haste the excess to make up for latency? Or is the value that I am aiming for % wise higher? I know at 700 we get over 8% haste while at 1200 we get almost 15% haste, i know the values we are looking for but I cant convert raid buff into a value, so just for clarifications i was just wondering what the % value that i am aim for is. Thank you :3

    1. The breakpoint is 690 or so rating. The actual converted percent is just over 7.5%. At 700 you get about 7.77% haste.

    2. ahh alright ty very much, so with raid buff I should at least be hitting 7.77% haste? I know with more gear I am probably going to go past that, but that essentially is my goal, correct?

    3. That's before Raid buff. Don't sacrifice much to get 7.77%. Just go for it if you're near it.
